HOPE Social Union for the Visually Impaired Pays Condolence Visit to NWCA

The North West Cooperative Association (NWCA) on 14 January 2026 received a condolence visit from the HOPE Social Union for the Visually Impaired in honour of its late General Manager, Mr. Waindim Timothy.

Originally planned as a courtesy visit to thank him for his support to their activities, the encounter was redirected to the NWCA family after his sudden passing in November 2025, becoming a moment of solidarity and shared mourning.

Members of the union described the late GM as a compassionate, inclusive leader who consistently showed concern for persons living with visual impairment and encouraged their social and economic participation.

During the visit, they presented a portrait of the late General Manager as a symbolic gesture of gratitude, which NWCA warmly received as a sign of the broad impact of his leadership beyond the cooperative movement.

NWCA expressed sincere appreciation to the HOPE Social Union for the Visually Impaired for their visit, messages and prayers, reaffirming its commitment to uphold the values of empathy, inclusion and service that guided his work.
