Bobe Waindim's inspiring life of service to farmers comes to a close

It has taken us this long to write this because we are still in utter shock and completely short of words, but as you, our dear family, already know by now, the nation recently lost THE giant of the coffee family and the impact has been seismic nationwide.

It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that The NWCA announces the passing of its General Manager, Mr. Waindim Timothy Ntam, who departed this life on the 20th November 2025.

Bobe Waindim was a devoted leader, a committed cooperative evangelist, and a tireless advocate for the welfare of peasant farmers in the North West Region. Throughout his service through The NWCA, he was an epitome of exceptional dedication, integrity, and vision, masterminding the growth, stability, and reputation of the coffee farmers both nationally and internationally.

Under his leadership, The NWCA strengthened its operational systems, deepened its impact on farmer livelihoods, and continued to uphold its mission of promoting sustainable coffee and cocoa production while improving the socio-economic conditions of its members.

The Board of Directors, Management, Staff, affiliated Unions and Societies, farmer-members, and partners of The NWCA extend their heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. We share in their grief and pray that they find comfort and strength.

Bobe Waindim's legacy of service and commitment to cooperative development will remain etched in the history of NWCA. We will forever cherish his contributions and the indelible mark he left on our organization and the coffee sector at large.

A memorial website has been created in his honour where updates about his funeral program will be shared and you can share your memories, condolences, and tributes: https://www.forevermissed.com/timothywaindim
